You already own a hot water bottle, and you have refilled it twice in one evening.
You would rather make the tea, finish the email or walk the dogs than sit still to keep the warm.
You work somewhere the aircon is set by someone else, and a jumper is not quite doing it.
You are buying it for someone you love. Your bestie, your sister, your mother, your daughter.
She will almost certainly never buy this for herself, which is exactly why it is such a good thing to have arrive from you. Take the two pack, keep one, and hand the other over.

If you are wearing it for a long stretch, or you might fall asleep in it, set it to a level meant for continuous use.

Every one is packed by hand, by us. Yours gets checked, wrapped and written on before it leaves, because it is going to somebody having a rough week and that is worth doing properly. It goes out tracked, and the number is emailed to you the day it leaves.
Faulty, tell us within 14 days and we replace it or refund you, and we pay the return postage. Changed your mind, you have 7 days and it comes back unused in its packaging.
We started this because of an evening that probably sounds familiar. Kettle on, bottle filled, and then the slow business of arranging the whole night around not letting it go cold. Getting up for a glass of water felt like a decision. That seemed like a silly thing to still be putting up with.
So we went looking for the version you could wear, and we tried not to dress it up when we found it. There are shops that will tell you an object like this will change your life. We are not going to do that, because you would know it was not true, and then you would not believe the parts that are.
Here is what is true. It is warm, it wraps around you under your clothes, and it goes where you go. We packed yours by hand. If you write to us, one person reads it and answers you, usually the same day. And if it turns up and it is not right, we will sort it out without making you ask twice.
That is the whole of it. We would rather be the shop you quietly trust than the one that shouted the loudest.

What it actually does
Heat comes up in the pad itself and you adjust it with one button on the front. No kettle, no waiting, no refilling it an hour later.
A gentle vibration, on a button of its own. Run it by itself, run the warmth by itself, or run the two of them together.
An 1800mAh rechargeable battery that charges by USB, with the cable in the box. Nothing plugged into a wall behind you, and small enough to travel with.
19.5cm by 9.5cm on an adjustable strap, worn on the waist. It sits under a jumper without announcing itself.
Everything a hot water bottle does, without staying next to it
A traditional hot water bottle works, it is just not practical. You boil the kettle, you sit next to it, and an hour later you are back at the kettle. It will not go in a bag, and it will not go under a jumper. This straps around the waist under your clothes, runs on a battery, and comes with you.
In plain words
What it is actually like to own one
Charges like your phone
Plug in the USB cable that comes in the box. The screen on the front shows what charge is left, so you are never caught out.
1800mAh rechargeable battery
Slim, and curved to sit flat
It follows the shape of your waist instead of sitting on top of it, so there is no bulge under a jumper or a work shirt.
19.5cm by 9.5cm
Two buttons, nothing to learn
One for the warmth, one for the soothing. Run either on its own or both together, and turn it up or down as you go.
Separate heat and soothing controls
Small enough to travel with
It goes in your handbag with the cable, so it comes to work, on the road trip, and away for the weekend. Nothing to plug in when you get there.
Portable, no plug needed
