Terms of service

These terms apply to every order placed on this store. Placing an order means you accept them. They do not replace or reduce your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

Prices and payment

All prices are in South African rand and include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

We try to keep every price and description accurate. If we find that a price was loaded wrongly, we will contact you before dispatching, and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Orders

An order is accepted when we email you the confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund you in full.

What the product is

The Period SootheBelt is a cordless heat pad worn on the waist on an adjustable strap. It applies warmth and a gentle vibration. It is a comfort product. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and nothing on this site should be taken as medical advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a pacemaker or another implanted device, speak to your doctor before using it.

Using it safely

Charge it by USB only, using the cable supplied. Do not use it in water. If you are wearing it for a long stretch, or you might fall asleep in it, set it to a level meant for continuous use. Keep it away from children.

Delivery and returns

Delivery is covered in our shipping policy and returns in our refund policy. Both form part of these terms.

Your information

We handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

Liability

We are responsible for the product being safe and of good quality, as the Consumer Protection Act requires. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
